Quirkyalone

Wondering whether there is a quirkyalone party in your area? Check on the IQD channel of the online community. Also look on “Local Events and Get-Togethers.” There are currently parties being discussed/planned in Madison; Brooklyn; Columbus, Ohio; Boston; San Francisco; Sydney; New Delhi; Toronto; Philadelphia; Indianapolis; Barcelona; and London. If there is nothing going on yet, suggest a time and a location and get the party started.

Use your creativity: this year Madison quirkyalones will be going Cosmic Bowling. In years past, Iowa quirkyalones organized a reading and social gathering at the local library, and Baton Rouge quirkyalones sang karaoke. There’s no shame in a gathering at a bar or cafe–that’s what we in San Francisco will be doing at Cafe Royale, Saturday, February 11, with a make-your-own-quirkyalone-card table and the classic alone-time table, which always becomes a magnet for social activity. Download party supplies here, and remember: Quirkyalone Day is a grassroots movement. Don’t ask when quirkyalone is coming to your town, bring it there yourself.
