We’re in search of a stellar, Bay-Area-based volunteer webmaster to help maintain the quirkyalone website and the online community. Scott Murray has done a fantastic job for the last three years but now is moving on to new projects. The position requires one to two hours a week with the opportunity for creative involvement and innovation.

Although the position is volunteer, if you have ideas for business development that may generate revenue for the site and implement them, you may earn a percentage of the revenue that is created.

Skills needed: The Webmaster/Admin role involves occasional page content and design updates, periodic site maintenance and software updating, list maintenance and troubleshooting, and management of the online community, including spam prevention and some conflict resolution. Must have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and FTP. Experience managing online communities, email lists, and blogs helpful. Familiarity with Photoshop and phpBB would be especially helpful, and support of the Quirkyalone ethic is required.

How to Apply: If interested, please email your resume with a note about why you are interested in quirkyalone!
