International Quirkyalone Day 2013–the tenth anniversary year–is coming up

Hola quirkyalones! I’m writing you from Buenos Aires, where I am excited to be working on my upcoming online adventure course Get Quirky, writing my next book, and dancing insane amounts of tango.

International Quirkyalone Day–the momentous tenth anniversary year–is coming up on February 2013. I’ve just gotten word of the first IQD party planned. This one will be in Washington, DC. So this message is meant to inspire the rest of you out there to plan IQD parties in your own town. Remember IQD is a grassroots movement, don’t ask what it does for you, but what you can do for IQD!

You can hold IQD at a bar, cafe, bowling alley, movie theater, karaoke bar, or anywhere you want–quirky. The DC IQD is going to be at a games and puzzles store. There will be fun things to look at.
