We are all unique. Yet, there is something different about "quirky people." Quirky people accept their quirks, and even enjoy them.

To shine in life, the first step is to embrace who we are. The second is to share it with the world. We can be supported by recognizing the quirky all around us: in pop culture and in our family and friends.

The best and worst part of being quirky is that . . . well, you're not like everyone else.

Sometimes that feels isolating and you start to disown your quirkiness.

When your spark inside fizzles, daily life starts to lose its magic and you start to feel less alive. You lose touch with the unique gifts you have to offer the world.

Are you wondering where your quirky went?

It's time to find it again.

Quirky is you, at your most natural. Quirky lights you up. When you get quirky, worries about "where you should be in life" fade away. And that's when the best, most surprising things happen.

Get Quirky is a 30-day online course where we are going to get quirky together. I will guide you on a journey to celebrate the quirky in you and in the world around you. As opposed to most personal growth courses, the emphasis here is on fun and playful self-exploration.

A month of quirky is going to spark up your life. There will be ripple effects wherever quirkiness most needs to show up in your life: in your social life, creativity, work, and in your relationship to yourself and others.

Get Quirky Is:

Get Quirky will help you:

After 30 days of quirky, you can expect to have more:

  • Self-acceptance and fun in everyday life
  • Connection to your creativity to live from that spark inside you, without worrying about what others think
  • Magnetism so you can attract people who get you. You never know who would love the person you hide
  • Clarity about who you are and what you want out of life

Over 30 days you might:

Identify the creative spark you want to follow. Play in the rain. Ask that stranger out. Laugh at your mismatched socks. Plan that trip that has been on your list forever. Write a haiku. Spend time alone nurturing your inner introvert.

Quirky people need other quirky people to thrive.

Through Get Quirky we will form a tribe. You'll get support and inspiration along your journey. Our private Facebook group is a safe space to share your quirkyness by posting your creative challenges. It's not just about embracing your quirky, it's about learning to let others see it. Initially they will be strangers, but they will be friendly strangers and soon they will be your compatriots.

A Playful Journey of Self-Discovery

Every day I will email you challenges to get loose, creative, and out of your comfort zone. You also get questions to spark reflection. Through our shared journey, you will become more comfortable letting your unique self shine.

Guidance and Inspiration

I'll share Quirky Lessons learned through writing and quick videos to watch. There will be intimate stories I haven't shared elsewhere. The reflections will be on singleness, relationships, fear, sex, creativity, and more.

We'll create a tribe together. You'll have access to this group when the course is over.

Weekly Calls (with recordings)

There will be weekly live phone calls where we'll talk about the theme of the course and you can ask me questions. You'll get access to audio recordings that you can listen to later while you are doing the dishes or taking a walk.

A Quirky Buddy (if you want one)

You will be matched with a quirky buddy if you want one for accountability and support. You can also choose to sign up with a friend and that person could be your buddy. This would be a fun, rich journey to take with a friend or family member: a trip without leaving home!

Begin a safari of quirkiness through your own life through writing, taking photos, and other creative challenges. Start looking at yourself in new ways and having fun being quirky.

Get in touch with your intuition and yourself at a deep level—what you want in your life.

Explore how to loosen up to let quirkiness be a full-body experience. Enjoying having a body is an important part of being quirky.

QuirkyAlone (and Together)

Learn about quirkyalone and what it means to prefer to be single rather than settle. Look at the quirkytogether, a way of bringing the best parts of being single into a relationship with you.

I've made a career about of being quirky and supporting that light in others. My books are Quirkyalone: A Manifesto for Uncompromising Romantics and To-Do List: From Buying Milk to Finding a Soul Mate, What Our Lists Reveal About Us. I've talked to Anderson Cooper on CNN about being quirky. I love to identify that little spark inside each person that brings him or her alive.

I founded the quirkyalone movement, which puts a positive spin on being single and is all about celebrating people who prefer to be single rather than settle. I also started International Quirkyalone Day, an alternative holiday on February 14.

I've taught Quirky Camp at holistic retreat centers Omega and Hollyhock and writing for MediaBistro. I coach people on what they want in life and how to get it. I did my life coach training at an organization based on the female orgasm. How much more quirky can you get?

My love for tango brought me to Buenos Aires in late 2012 to live here for six months. I traveled alone in South America for all of 2010. My life has been an adventure because I follow my own unique curiosities and intuition. If you want to open up to the quirky I'm your girl.

When I embrace my quirky, life flows. I'm more confident, courageous, creative and generous. Getting quirky is more powerful if we do it together. That's why I want to Get Quirky with you.

How is the Get Quirky course run?

No. You can participate from anywhere in a way that works with your schedule. I suggest you stay in the flow and keep up with the questions and challenges as much as possible. There will be an energy that builds throughout 30 days.
